California Privacy Policy
This California Privacy Policy (this “CPP”) is adopted in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the “CCPA”) and supplements the information contained in Plata’s Privacy Policy. This CPP applies only to Members, Administrators, and other Platform users who are residents of California (collectively, “Residents”).
This CPP explains how Plata Financial, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Plata”) collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information about Residents who use our payroll, time tracking, attendance management, and money transfer platform (our “Platform”), and how such users may exercise their rights under the CCPA.
Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this CPP, and all other capitalized terms have the same meaning as defined in Plata’s Privacy Policy. Our use of term “personal information” includes “sensitive personal information,” as defined in the CPPA.
1. What this CPP covers
The CCPA and its implementing regulations require us to provide you with information about:
the categories of personal information we collect;
the categories of sources from whom we collect personal information, including the specific business or commercial purposes for such collection;
the categories of personal information that we have “disclosed for a business purpose” to third parties, including the categories of third parties to whom the information was disclosed, and the business or commercial purposes of such disclosure;
the categories of personal information that we have “sold or shared” to third parties, including the categories of third parties to whom the information was sold or shared, and the business or commercial purposes for selling or sharing such information.
an explanation of the consumers’ rights under the CCPA; and
an explanation of how consumer can exercise their CCPA rights.
2. Categories of personal information we collect
The categories of personal information that we collect are listed in Section 2 of Plata’s Privacy Policy. This list of categories and examples is incorporated by reference into this CPP.

7. Personal information we sell or share
Plata does not “sell” or “share” any personal information, and we have not “sold or shared” any such information in the past 12 months.
8. Sensitive Personal Information
Plata does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in the Section 7027(m) of the CCPA.
9. Your rights under the CCPA
If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights over your information:
Right to Know. You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your request, we will disclose to you: the categories or specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; the categories of sources of that information; our purposes for collecting and using that information; and the categories of third parties with whom we disclose, share, or sell that information.
Right to Delete. You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for instance, if we are legally required to keep the information). Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
Right to Opt-Out. You have the right to request that we stop selling or sharing your personal information. Once you send us an “opt-out” request, we cannot sell or share your personal information unless you later authorize us to do so.
Right to Non-Discrimination. You have the right not to be discriminated or retaliated against for exercising your information rights under the CCPA. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, provide a different level of quality of goods or services, or take any other actions prohibited by the CCPA, because you exercised your rights under the CCPA.
Right to Limit. You have the right to request that we only use your sensitive personal information (for example, your social security number, financial account information, or previse geolocation data) for limited purposes, such as providing you with the services that you have requested. If you would like to limit the use of your sensitive Personal Information, you may submit your request here.
Right to Correct. You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate information that we have about you.
Please note, not all of the rights described above are absolute, and they do not apply in all circumstances. In some cases, we may limit or deny your request because the law permits or requires us to do so, or if we are unable to adequately verify your identity.
10. Exercising your rights
To exercise any of your rights under the CCPA, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by email at asistencia@conplata.com. Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your personal information. You may only make a request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. Your request must:
Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative; and
Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
